Department of Molecular Microbiology
- Molecular Microbiology Department Master's program is an interdisciplinary program and started education in 2018-2019. Our department consists of 7 faculty members from different disciplines (Faculty of Medicine Medical Microbiology, Medical Biology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Food Technology of Technical Sciences Vocational School ). Department of molecular microbiology is the first graduate program in this field in Turkey, we continue to work to open the PhD program. It is aimed to establish this master's program in order to support, plan, coordinate and apply interdisciplinary research on molecular microbiology in line with scientific and technological priorities in the developing and changing world. With this program, it is aimed to provide trained manpower by applying for a basic and advanced education program in this field, which is a sub-branch of microbiology, to train scientists who will follow and apply developments in molecular microbiology and contribute to medicine and science. The graduate program covers general and clinical microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, environment, food and industrial microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceutical microbiology, immunology. Our students carry out their laboratory studies in the laboratories of Medical Microbiology of medical faculty, Pharmaceutical Microbiology of Faculty of Pharmacy, Food Technology of Technical Sciences Vocational School and MEİTAM. Graduates of the department of biology, molecular biology and genetics of the science and letters faculty, faculty of veterinary, faculty of medicine, faculty of dentistry, faculty of pharmacy, department of bioengineering of engineering faculty can apply to the program.
