The Civil Engineering Profession and an Introduction to the Turkish Chamber of Civil Engineers (IMO)

The Board of Directors of the Mersin Branch of the Chamber of Civil Engineers (İMO) under the Turkish Chamber of Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) organized an informational meeting titled “Introduction to the Civil Engineering Profession and İMO” for our first-year students on October 5, 2026, in the Faculty’s Main Conference Hall. At this event, where the opening remarks were delivered by our Department Chair, Prof. Dr. Cahit BİLİM, our department student and also the Secretary of the 16th Term Council Executive Secretary Mehmet Burak KARATAŞ, along with Civil Engineer Abdülkadir ASLAN and Civil Engineer Onur AKTOLUN—both members of the IMO Mersin Branch Board of Directors—provided information about various seminars, training sessions, workshops, and social events organized by the IMO to support professional and social development. The event concluded with a group photo session.
